He really hits the nail on the head describing the underlying dynamics of the paralysis that often befalls Christianity in Japan. We have often had to witness how Christian leaders paint themselves into a corner. Thankfully, a fresh wind is blowing in many places in Tohoku and many of these encrusted structures are being replaced with more vibrant communities. It is exciting to see all the potential around us for Christians to be a force for good in their neighborhoods and towns.
